About Organize PDF
The page previews are drawn with pdf.js, the PDF engine of Firefox. The saved file is built with pdf-lib by copying the original page objects, so text stays selectable and links inside pages keep working. Bookmarks are not carried over.
Is it private?
Yes. Organize PDF runs entirely in your web browser using your device's own processor. Your files are never uploaded to Nolo or anyone else, and the page cannot send them anywhere: its security policy only allows it to talk to nolotools.com, which has no place to receive files. Results are kept encrypted on your device for 60 minutes in Your files, then deleted automatically, or straight away with Delete all. How Nolo works.
Questions and answers
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Thumbnails are drawn and the new PDF is built inside your browser. The file never leaves your device.
Can I reorder pages on a phone?
Yes. Use the ← and → buttons under each page to move it; dragging works best with a mouse.
Does rotating or reordering lower the quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are and rotation is stored as a page setting, so nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed.
I removed a page by mistake. Can I get it back?
Yes, before saving: press "Bring them back" or "Undo all changes". Your original file is never changed.
Can I add pages from another PDF?
Combine the files first with Merge PDF, then organize the merged file here.
