Is it private?
Yes. Signature Generator runs entirely in your web browser using your device's own processor. Your files are never uploaded to Nolo or anyone else, and the page cannot send them anywhere: its security policy only allows it to talk to nolotools.com, which has no place to receive files. Results are kept encrypted on your device for 60 minutes in Your files, then deleted automatically, or straight away with Delete all. How Nolo works.
Questions and answers
Is my signature saved or uploaded?
No. It exists only in this page while it is open. Nothing is sent to Nolo and nothing is stored.
Does the PNG have a transparent background?
Yes. It is cropped to your signature with a transparent background, so it sits cleanly on any document.
Is a signature image legally binding?
It depends on your country and the document. An image of a signature is a simple electronic signature; some contracts need a qualified or witnessed signature. When in doubt, ask the other party.
Why do the typed styles look different on my phone?
Typed styles use handwriting fonts already installed on your device, and each system has different ones. The downloaded PNG looks exactly like the preview.
