Is it private?
Yes. Random Number Generator runs entirely in your web browser using your device's own processor. Your files are never uploaded to Nolo or anyone else, and the page cannot send them anywhere: its security policy only allows it to talk to nolotools.com, which has no place to receive files. Results are kept encrypted on your device for 60 minutes in Your files, then deleted automatically, or straight away with Delete all. How Nolo works.
Questions and answers
Is it really random?
It uses crypto.getRandomValues, the same secure generator browsers use for encryption, with rejection sampling so no number is favoured.
Can I get numbers without repeats?
Yes. Turn off "Allow repeats" and every number in the result will be different, as in a draw.
How large can the range be?
Any whole numbers up to about 9 quadrillion (2^53). You can pick up to 10,000 numbers at once.
Is anything recorded?
No. Results stay on this page and disappear when you close it.
