Is it private?
Yes. Coin Flip runs entirely in your web browser using your device's own processor. Your files are never uploaded to Nolo or anyone else, and the page cannot send them anywhere: its security policy only allows it to talk to nolotools.com, which has no place to receive files. Results are kept encrypted on your device for 60 minutes in Your files, then deleted automatically, or straight away with Delete all. How Nolo works.
Questions and answers
Is the coin fair?
Yes. Each flip uses one secure random bit from crypto.getRandomValues, so heads and tails are exactly equally likely.
Why did I get several heads in a row?
Streaks are normal with real randomness: five heads in a row happens about once in every 32 tries.
Can I flip many coins at once?
Yes. "Flip 10" tosses ten coins and adds them to the tally.
Is anything saved?
No. The tally resets when you leave the page.
