How to use Dice Roller
- Choose the number of dice (1 to 10).
- Choose the type of dice, such as d6 or d20.
- Press Roll.
- Read each die and the total; your last rolls are listed below.
Is it private?
Yes. Dice Roller runs entirely in your web browser using your device's own processor. Your files are never uploaded to Nolo or anyone else, and the page cannot send them anywhere: its security policy only allows it to talk to nolotools.com, which has no place to receive files. Results are kept encrypted on your device for 60 minutes in Your files, then deleted automatically, or straight away with Delete all. How Nolo works.
Questions and answers
Are the dice fair?
Yes. Every face is equally likely: results come from crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling, so there is no bias.
Which dice can I roll?
d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 and d100, up to 10 at a time.
Can I add a modifier?
Yes. Add a plus or minus modifier and it is added to the total, as in tabletop games (for example 2d6+3).
Is anything saved?
No. The roll history disappears when you leave the page.
