- Press Compress.
- Download the images one by one or all together as a ZIP.
Is it private?
Yes. Compress Image runs entirely in your web browser using your device's own processor. Your files are never uploaded to Nolo or anyone else, and the page cannot send them anywhere: its security policy only allows it to talk to nolotools.com, which has no place to receive files. Results are kept encrypted on your device for 60 minutes in Your files, then deleted automatically, or straight away with Delete all. How Nolo works.
Questions and answers
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Compression happens in your browser with WebAssembly encoders. Your photos never leave your device.
How much smaller will my images get?
Phone photos usually shrink by 60 to 90% at 75% quality, especially with "Limit size to 2560 px" on. PNG screenshots shrink less unless you convert them to WebP.
Which format should I choose?
WebP gives small files that every modern browser and app opens. AVIF is even smaller but slower to make. Keep JPG if you need to send the photo to older software.
Can I compress HEIC photos from an iPhone?
Yes. Nolo reads HEIC and saves the result as JPG, WebP or AVIF.
Is there a limit?
No daily limit, no file-size cap and no account. Your device's memory is the only limit.
