About Rotate PDF
PDF pages carry a rotation value of 0, 90, 180 or 270 degrees. Nolo changes that value with pdf-lib, which is the lossless way to rotate: the page content itself is not redrawn.
Is it private?
Yes. Rotate PDF runs entirely in your web browser using your device's own processor. Your files are never uploaded to Nolo or anyone else, and the page cannot send them anywhere: its security policy only allows it to talk to nolotools.com, which has no place to receive files. Results are kept encrypted on your device for 60 minutes in Your files, then deleted automatically, or straight away with Delete all. How Nolo works.
Questions and answers
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The rotation is applied inside your browser. The file never leaves your device.
Is the rotation saved permanently?
Yes. Unlike turning the view in a PDF reader, Nolo saves the new orientation in the file, so it opens the right way everywhere.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Only the page's rotation setting changes; text and images are not touched or re-compressed.
Can I rotate just one page?
Yes. Tap that page (or type its number) and press Rotate. The other pages stay as they are.
Some pages were already turned. What happens?
The new angle is added to the existing one, exactly as the previews show.
