Is it private?
Yes. MP3 Cutter runs entirely in your web browser using your device's own processor. Your files are never uploaded to Nolo or anyone else, and the page cannot send them anywhere: its security policy only allows it to talk to nolotools.com, which has no place to receive files. Results are kept encrypted on your device for 60 minutes in Your files, then deleted automatically, or straight away with Delete all. How Nolo works.
Questions and answers
Are my MP3 files uploaded?
No. Everything happens inside your browser with its built-in media engine (WebCodecs). Your MP3 files never leave your device, and the page works offline once loaded.
Will my cut MP3 sound worse?
The cut part is re-encoded. At the same or a higher bitrate than the original (192 kbps by default) the difference is inaudible for almost everyone. Choose WAV to avoid any re-encoding loss.
Can I fade the ends?
Yes. Set fade in and fade out from 0 to 5 seconds each.
Does it keep the song title and artist?
No. The new file contains only the audio; add tags again in your music app if you need them.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The handles are large enough for touch, and you can also type exact times.
