About PDF to JPG
Each page is drawn at the resolution you pick, on a white background, exactly as a PDF viewer shows it, including form fields and annotations that have a visible appearance.
Fonts that a PDF uses but does not include are replaced with the standard PDF fonts, the same way Firefox does it.
Is it private?
Yes. PDF to JPG runs entirely in your web browser using your device's own processor. Your files are never uploaded to Nolo or anyone else, and the page cannot send them anywhere: its security policy only allows it to talk to nolotools.com, which has no place to receive files. Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Pages are rendered inside your browser with pdf.js, the PDF engine built into Firefox. The file never leaves your device.
Which resolution should I choose?
72 DPI is enough for a quick look on screen, 150 DPI is sharp on most screens and in documents, and 300 DPI is the usual choice for printing. Higher DPI means larger files.
How big will the images be?
An A4 page is 1240 ร 1754 pixels at 150 DPI and 2480 ร 3508 pixels at 300 DPI. Very large pages are scaled down to stay within what phones can draw, and the result tells you when that happened.
JPG or PNG?
JPG makes smaller files and suits scans and photos. PNG is lossless, so text and line drawings stay perfectly crisp, but the files are bigger. You can switch format on the same page.
