Is it private?
Yes. Reverse Text runs entirely in your web browser. What you type is never sent to Nolo or anyone else, and the page cannot send it anywhere: its security policy only allows it to talk to nolotools.com, which has no place to receive data. Nothing is stored either: close the page and it is gone. How Nolo works.
Questions and answers
Do emoji survive being reversed?
Yes. The text is reversed by visible character, so emoji with skin tones, flags and accented letters stay intact instead of turning into broken symbols.
How does upside-down text work?
Each letter is replaced by a similar-looking Unicode character that appears rotated (a → ɐ, e → ǝ), and the order is reversed. Most letters have a look-alike; a few, like some capitals, are approximations.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser.
What is the difference between reversing words and each word?
"Word order" turns "one two three" into "three two one". "Letters in each word" keeps the order but spells each word backwards: "eno owt eerht".
