Is it private?
Yes. Date Difference Calculator runs entirely in your web browser. What you type is never sent to Nolo or anyone else, and the page cannot send it anywhere: its security policy only allows it to talk to nolotools.com, which has no place to receive data. Questions and answers
Does it count the start and end dates?
By default it counts the days from the start to the end, like a countdown: Monday to Friday is 4 days. Switch on "Include the end date" to count both days (5).
What counts as a business day?
Monday to Friday. Public holidays are not removed, because they differ by country and region; subtract them yourself.
Does it handle leap years?
Yes. It counts on the real calendar, including 29 February.
How many business days are in 2026?
261 weekdays from 1 January to 31 December 2026, before public holidays.
Are my numbers sent anywhere?
No. Everything is calculated in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing you type is uploaded, stored on a server or tracked, and the calculator works offline once the page has loaded.
