Is it private?
Yes. Add Line Numbers runs entirely in your web browser. What you type is never sent to Nolo or anyone else, and the page cannot send it anywhere: its security policy only allows it to talk to nolotools.com, which has no place to receive data. Questions and answers
Can I skip blank lines?
Yes. Turn on Skip empty lines so blank lines get no number and the numbering continues on the next line with text.
Can I remove line numbers from copied code?
Yes. Choose Remove numbers. It strips a number at the start of each line followed by a dot, bracket, colon, bar, tab or space.
Can numbers line up?
Yes. Choose "Align with spaces" or "Leading zeros" so 1 and 100 take the same width.
Is my text uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser.
